Lamination
- Gloss – offers the greatest “depth” of color. Easiest to keep clean.
- Matte – especially good for trade-show backers, where glare free surfaces is important.
- Satin, Semi Gloss, Luster – meets in the middle of gloss and matte. This is ideal for trade shows and P.O.P. graphics where finger prints are a problem.
- Textured or Pebble Finish – protects graphics displayed in high-traffic, public areas where they are likely to be exposed to frequent touching or incidental scratches. The pebble texture on the surface of this film eliminates glare and minimizes the visibility of fingerprints and other damage to the surface of the print.
- Dry Erase – great for custom conference and board rooms, schools, and restaurants special-of-the-day boards.
- UV/Chemical Resistant – done through UV guard fluoropolymer materials that have good resistance to UV and chemicals
- White Backer – used to make direct UV printing “pop” when on a clear substrate like Plexiglas.
- Floorguard – used when slip resistance is the most critical end use requirement.
Mounting
- Foam Core – indoor use, low cost option that is ideal for temporary displays and signs
- Gatorboard – mostly indoor use that is harder and more rigid than foam core.
- Coroplast – among the least expensive substrates that is good for temporary, low cost signs.
- PVC – good all-around sign substrate material for indoor and outdoor us in most climates. Not recommended for hot desert climates.
- Aluminum Composite – good outdoor durability when you are looking for a more permanent substrate.
- Plexiglas – used for permanent substrates and lettering. Excellent outdoor material with strong UV resistance.
- Lexan – used where high-impact material is needed due to high vandalism or extreme weather.
- Aluminum – exceptional outdoor durability that won’t rust.
- Alumilite – used when a permanent, yet light weight sign is needed.
- Banner Stands – excellent for trade shows, P.O.P. displays, and lobbies.
Cutting
- Summa Plotter S160T – with the OPOS system where are able to keep the material on track for the most accurate cutting of distinctive decals. Also able to efficiently cut up to 60” self-adhesive vinyl.
- Summa Plotters T1010 – used primarily for cutting self-adhesive vinyl up to 38” width cutting capacity.
- Gerber Invision Plotter – 15” plotter used for cutting high performance edge output.
- Rigid materials such as Gator Board, PVC, Plexiglas and other acrylic based plastics, plywood and other wood products are up to 4′ x 8′ sheets up to 1.5″ thick on our vertical panel saw. Thicknesses of up to 2″ thick for sign blanks can be manually cut.
- Soft materials such as PVC’s (Komatex, Sentra Celtec, etc.), Gator Board, and Foam Core using our vertical panel razor knife attachment is great for cutting 1/8″ up to 1/4″ thick substrates.
- Other capabilities include template set-ups routing for circles, ovals and complex shapes, where jobs require more than one piece. Custom “one off” pieces can also be made.
Installation Aids
- Velcro – great for traveling, quick put up/take down displays.
- Adhesive back – just peel and stick to most any surface. Available in both removable and permanent adhesive.
- Foam tape – provides an aggressive double sided permanent bond that sticks to most surfaces.
- Magnets – great for menu board or other signage where quick and frequent change outs and updates are needed. We even make magnets that can be made to be self-aligning.
- Grommets – most popular method for hanging banners.
- Pole pockets – used instead of grommets for a cleaner, more polished look. Great for trade shows, street light pole mounts and banner stands.
- Mounting blocks – provide added dimensionality so your sign will stand off the wall while being out of sight.
- Stand-offs – beautifully machined to be visible in providing added dimensionality to your sign so that it can stand off the wall with distinction.
- Museum mounts – uses archival acid-free materials that keep your graphics protected for many years.
- Easel back – swing out from back of unit then locks into position.
