Q:  How do I request a quote?

A:  There is a quick link for a quote request right off the homepage of this website if you are a first time customer.  If you already have spoken to a Design Dynamics design consultant you can email them directly with your specifications or call our office and ask for them by name at 800- 94-DESIGN (800-943-37446).

Q:  How do I send in my artwork?

A:  The best way to send your file is a vector based art program (AI or EPS file) via our FTP site. The FTP site is a link off the homepage and will accept a file up to 100 megs. If you file is too large you can scale it down to 1/4 of the actual output size at 300dpi. If you are still having difficulties or questions, contact your Design Dynamics design consultant via phone at 800- 94-DESIGN (800-943-37446) or email artwork@designdynamics.com for help.

Q:  What file format should I use to submit my artwork?

A:  Accepted file formats are EPS, PDF, TIFF, JPEG, AI. For best resolution and large graphics, EPS files are preferred.

Q:  Should I bother with a proof?

A:  In printing you should always double check your work, and then check it once more.  Proofing is all about preventing mistakes.  We only recommend a PDF proof if color exactness is not critical.  If you are even a little concerned about color you need to get a press proof.

Q:  What is the difference between ad PDF and a Press Proof?

A:  PDF files are sent via email and are excellent for quickly looking at the type and graphic elements to make sure they meet your expectations.  Because colors vary between monitors and printers a PDF proof will not give you an accurate indication of the final color.  Press proofs are also called a Hard Copy Proof.  This type of proof is printed in full color using the same material called for in the finished product.  This way you see exactly how the colors will look in the finished product.  At Design Dynamics PDF proofs are always free, where as press proofs may come with a charge depending on the circumstances.

Q: How long will it take to get my graphics after I place the order?

A: Our standard production turn around time is two to three days (plus time in transit) from receiving a working art file or from design approval of the creative file we set up for you. Special material orders are subject to additional lead-time. Your design consultant will discuss that with you at the time of order.

Q: How will you ship my order?

A: We pack and ship your order the most cost efficient way to send to you via common freight carrier, UPS Ground services. Shipping time in transit will depend on the distance between your location and Design Dynamics (located in Orange County California). If you order is too big to ship UPS or you need it overnight we will discuss other fulfillment options with you, at the time you place your order.

Q: Can I receive tracking information on my shipment?

A: Yes, contact your Design Dynamics design consultant to track your package and/or request that we notify you by e-mail when your order has shipped.

Q: Can you drop ship blind direct to my customer?

A: Yes, we offer blind drop ship services direct to your customer and/or Third Party UPS or Fed Ex shipping.

Q: Can I get samples of your work?

A: Yes, ask your Design Dynamics design consultant to send you a sample kit of our substrates and print quality along with a examples of recent products in application.

Q: Do I get a price break if I order more than one quantity of a graphic solution?

A: The volume of material ordered at a certain time determines price breaks.  Ask your Design Dynamics design consultant when getting a quote and they will let you know if price breaks are applicable to your project and at what quantity.

Q: How large can you print?

A: Our fleet of printers can print roll to roll material up to 96” wide or on the flat bed printer 5’ X 10’.

Q: Can you cut shapes?

A: Yes, we have the in-house skill to cut shapes in material up to two inches thick.  We also use a router to cut designs into the material if a three- dimensional product is required.
